The peak intensity is expected to be sharp, the meteor rates exceed one-half of their highest value for about 8 hours. Quadrantid meteor shower is the first meteor shower of every new year. The shower comes each year in January and favors the Northern Hemisphere because its radiant point is so far north on the sky’s dome.
