Major League Soccer is also becoming popular and even football has become one of the most popular sports in America, also many American business owners owning massive football clubs like Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal.
England
Football is the most crazily supported sport in England. England has the most popular football league, The English Premier League and the oldest Cup tournament, the F A Cup. As popular as football is, Cricket is actually their national sport and it is surely popular. The Ashes being the greatest and oldest Cricket tournament between England and Australia is hugely popular. Also tennis is popular sport in England, hosting the greatest Grand Slam, The Wimbeldon.
China
China may be one of the best in Table Tennis but Basketball and Football have also been popular in China. With such a huge Chinese population, China becomes a huge place for sporting events. Also hosted the Olympics, Chinese have progressed in sports.
Australia
Cricket, Rugby and now Football, these three are the most popular sports in Australia. Rugby may be the most popular sport there but Cricket is not far behind and Australia had an utter dominance in the past in Cricket they also host Ashes and the next Cricket World Cup will be in Australia. Football has gain a huge popularity and the Socoroos also qualified for this year’s world cup though got out in the Group Stages in a group containing Netherlands, Spain and Chile.
India
Cricket is the most popular sport in India. It is more than a sport, it is a religion. Indians are just crazy for this game. India are defending World Champions and also hosts a popular cricket tournament the Indian Premier League. Hockey is the national sport of India and it is popular mainly in the North but no one can beat cricket. Football has gained a huge audience but India still needs to improve in building some great players for Football.
