Tell us more about yourself.

My Teachers Say i am SLY, even my friends think the same, but according to me i am a very simple person, u may say to be simple is my hobby, very polite, not so studious, but one of my best friend says i am Scholar. 😉

Were you expecting to top in the exams? To whom would you credit this success to?
Honestly not, but am very happy after it and the credit goes specially to the Founder of our College & our religious head Syedna Saheb (TUS) who is an inspiration to all students, my PARENTS, Teachers and specially my friends
  • Did you prepare religiously from day One or A few weeks before the exams?

I would like to say “All Students should Study in Groups”, it explores yours and even your friends knowledge and even you get to learn more from it. I started my studies before 20 days of exams.

How did you allot time to different subjects?

I would prefer studying from subject to subject, completing one after another. I used to study 6 hrs per day with my friends. I hate learning alone.

Can you share some insights on how to crack the subjects before exams?

Paying attention in class and specially to our professor makes it easy for us to crack the papers. For me IMTP was easy, even Retail and Marketing. International Finance is Difficult. Entrepreneurship, OR are well to do subjects. If you ask me I would prefer writing 4 sides of sheet for a 10 marks answer, 1 and 1/2 is enough for 5 marker or 2 for a short note. Answers should be written in systematic manner like writing in points giving bullets, first should give a summary and then actual answer points, I think a practical day to day knowledge would help u in writing the answers, even for case study a brief summary and always try to use concepts while answering case study. It can give more weight-age to the answers. Practical subjects are easy to crack, it depends on how your professor teaches you.

Do you think BMS student require coaching classes or is self-study enough? Had you joined any coaching class for a particular subject?

Coaching classes are not required. Neither i had joined any.

Did you participate in college fests or extra-curricular activities? Do you think a BMS student can manage both studies and extra activities?

During Sem V and VI, I had not joined any extra activities, but during previous two years I did participated in many like I CREATE – its an entrepreneurial skill development programme, even in different activities as Earth Day, Environment week, industrial visits, etc.

Did you pursue any additional courses/ internships alongside BMS?

I guess a student should do it, it helps in overcoming practical knowledge.

Today, we often come across students committing suicide out of failure, depression or tension of exams. What do you have to say about this? Did you use any special techniques for stress management?

Study is never a stress and it should not become also, its a part of life, stress & pressure i don’t understand what exactly it is, i would laugh if a student says that he is pressured or stressed by studies, its for our betterment and increasing our knowledge. I think parents should take more care of it, let their child study the way he wants and the field of its choice.

Do you think the number of Industrial visits should be increased for BMS Students? Which industries have you visited?

One industrial visit a year is necessary. I did participate in one out of three in the second year to KERALA, i don’t exactly remember the names but one was a tea industry, other of cloth and other of a newspaper.

Do you think BMS students are flooded with assignments, projects and internal exams round the clock? What changes would you like to bring in the BMS Curriculum?

I think internals and projects and assignments are the best part in BMS. It gives you knowledge of outer world while making it. Visiting corporates and places to search for information, etc.

What message would you like to give to the next batch of BMS students?

Most likely “Prefer Studying in Group”, it gives you more knowledge by sharing and it makes you learn easily and quickly.

What are the future plans post BMS?

I am Planning to do a JOB and With that i Prefer a Distance MBA.
