My favorite BMS Professor is BHARAT PITHADIA, he taught us Business Law in the FYBMS. It was really interesting to attend his lectures. I acquired a lot of knowledge from him and had really interesting sessions with him. The way he taught us was simply awesome. Many students did find him very boring but all he had was a fuel of passion in his blood towards his subject he teaches. He was a perfect balance of knowledge and humors. He never made our lectures boring and tried to add some cool and humorous examples for every concept taught in law. People believe that law is such a boring subject; it has so many concepts and things to be learnt. He made these things so simple and easy for us to do. He had the ability to draw out the attention to the subject and also to sustain it. He does not merely read from the book but also tries to give us a concrete picture of everything, so that we see them before us.
Although Prof. BHARAT taught law to us, he had a good knowledge of other subjects also. He is well versed with all the current affairs of the world and often links what we are studying to something that may have been taught somewhere else in the world. He encourages asking questions so that we are able to understand the subject well. He never loses the patience with those students who take long to grasp the subject.
Prof. BHARAT gives personal attention to all the students. If, by chance, any student tries to play fool in his class, he is firm and does not allow that to happen. He believes that if anything wrong done shall be punished, no matters even he himself does something wrong. He is great combination of kindness and strictness. He encourages the students to ask each other and him anything with regard to the subject so that a healthy discussion generates new ideas and increases our curiosity about the subject. Frankly speaking in one and half hour lecture, the half hour is utilized by students to ask questions and discuss the concepts.
He is a well-known Professor in other colleges too. He is very courteous to his colleagues and the head of the BMS department. I have never seen him frown or lose his temper. He remains calm even when there is a crisis if any kind.
He is an ideal Professor and provides the student with a good role model. I believe if every institute has such devoted professors like him. Every student will focus on developing his quality and not his quantity.
