The teacher of Inspiration – Prof. Sheetal Aditya
Every child has a different learning style and pace. A teacher plays a vital role in a child’s life. They inspire you, they entertain you and you end up learning a ton even when you don’t know it. The mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. The great teacher inspires. Teaching needs a true patience grounded in wisdom and compassion.
Each person, each student, each child have teachers in their life who would have taught them something special, unusual or the one who would have acted as a page turner in their life. Now here, I have got the pleasure to share my experience, my thoughts about my teacher!!!The great teacher and a great person indeed is Prof. Sheetal Aditya, Student Council Head at Tilak College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Vashi of Bachelors of Management Studies’ Department. She is the one who first considers to what students think and what students want. She had pursued MBA in International Business and applied for TSP.
She practises her teaching in subjects like Research Methodology, Export and Import Procedures and Documentation, Strategic Management, Marketing Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Operating Research to the BMS students. She is the one who have incredibly worked hard to make journey of BMS remarkable for the students. Her efforts have made the students indebted and are forced to remember all the fests, events and practical trainings organised by her.
TRIP TO J.N.P.T ORGANISED BY PROF. SHEETAL
Prof. Sheetal not only gives various illustrations for explanation but also prepares Power Point Presentations for the students for better understanding. She had given us practical training on Research Methodology subject and let us explore the subject more efficiently by her efforts. She treats all students equally and considers every student’s opinion and selects the best out of it. Prof. Sheetal had organised every single event for students and teachers. She had organised a long term Industrial Visit to Chandigarh and Manali. A beautiful and marvellous journey which would not be forgotten till our last breath. It was an eight days tour, initiative taken by none other than Prof. Sheetal, wonderfully managed and taken care of all students.
She even conducted One day I.V. for us to Bharat Gears LTD and J.N.P.T, Uran. Bharat Gears LTD is an Export and Import Company which mainly deals with exporting of gears and J.N.P.T. i.e. Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust is a government logistics port deals with transportation, warehousing of export and import goods in containers. We were taken here to learn more about logistical affairs. She also offers internship to students in her husband’s company.
She not only believes in theoretical teaching but also giving practical experience so that the students discover the subjects more and finds it more interesting. She also organised college festival – Anubhav, Prodigies and events like Blood donation Camp on World Aids Day. All these events and festivals gave students a memorable experience and practical knowledge about how to organise, manage and control the events.
She always helps students to overcome their weaknesses in studies by taking extra lectures and giving extra attention so that they do well in future aspects. There is a great saying “If your actions inspire children to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are indeed worthy of the title ‘ TEACHER’ ” and I believe Prof. Sheetal fits in best with the title “ Teacher” .
Her sincerity, potential to change, dedication to college and students inspires me to be like her now and always. She has explored the best out of every student by her genuine teaching. Last but not the least; hereby I conclude my narration by saying “I am indebted to my father for living, but to my teacher for living well”.
