Teacher is the one who can really be the best guidance for a student because they can help students to shape out their career and many a times it is the teacher who can recognize the hidden talent in a particular student. Right from playgroup it is the teacher who has helped the students to gain enormous knowledge about various fields through their easily understandable teaching style and ofcourse their love and affection. At every stage of different standards, I have got lovely and kind teachers who have really supported me in all ways.
I am very thankful to all my teachers because of them I have been able to climb to this stage.
In our B.M.S. section, we have many wonderful and experienced teachers who really make our college stand high from all other colleges. It is indeed difficult for me to select one best teacher out of all .But there is one BMS faculty Prof. Vijaya Gangan whom we call the ‘mind of experience’
Mrs. Vijaya Gangan was born on 1st November 1953 in Mumbai. She completed her studies by achieving a very high degree in Human Resource and she is considered to be an expert in this field. She also provides advice to a large number of MNCs. By looking at her long and experienced profile, it makes us proud to be her students. At this age also, she loves teaching and is very passionate about it. Teaching has entered in her blood. But at the same time she always wanted the students to get as much practical knowledge as possible. She explains different ways by which students can gain practical knowledge.
Professor Vijaya is one name whose achievements speak for herself. Being in the field of Human Resource for nearly two decades and teaching the same subject since the past 10 years speaks of her excellence in her stream. She makes use of her experience and gives excellent examples which help students to learn and understand quickly.
Also the success of the Tsunami-Fest by the bay: theBMSfestival ofLalaLajpatRaiCollegeis accredited to her as it was her brainchild. She is the one who initiated the start of this festival. She wanted the students to get out of their college and learn marketing, administration, financial etc skills practically. Moreover her fusion of conventional knowledge with field experience gives her students the true scenario of HR thus creating true managerial skill. Also her unusual connect with students who tend to approach her for suggestions or mere casual discussion helps her strengthen her bond with them. All this tend to bring out an excellent teacher in the form of Mrs. Vijaya thereby making the most positive impact on the students which goes a long way in their career.
Being a H.R. teacher she always helps in all other subjects as well. She is always ready to help us and make sure that we understand her subject very well. Her skills are well developed to make a student understand the difficult of difficult things. Students understand her easy methods very quickly.
She is a also a very good friend at the same time. She is always very friendly and kind with all students. She does not get angry very fast and in fact has a very cool temperament. All students love to attend her class .She makes sure that mostly everyone sitting in the class understands the lessons taught by her in the class. She also makes us play different management games to keep our interest going. Most importantly she gives very good internals to all. “hahahaha”. Some students like her maybe because of this reason.
She is the lady with good speaking, explaining and also writing skills. Her speeches in the class are excellent and she explains in a very easy manner and her notes are also very easy to remember.
She is a teacher I would never forget her in my life and will be always thankful to have such a great teacher and at the same a good friend.
It is proud to have such a teacher!!!!!!!
I wish I get all professors like her in my future life to come and wish that her blessings be with me even after I graduate from the college next year. I have learnt lot of things from Mrs. Vijaya and other and studies she has taught us many other things. We will always remember her and respect her from the bottom of our heart. A truly different teacher and a supportive friend .This three years of her teaching will be a lesson for us for years to come. We really thank our collegeLalaLajpatRaiCollegeto provide us with such faculty.
