How does it feel to be a Topper in the university exams? Whom will you credit your success to? What was your success mantra?

It feels great to be known as a topper of your college. This wouldn’t have been possible without my teachers and the one who motivated me, my mom.
If you work hard u will get the reward accordingly which will make you happy and satisfied.

Did you prepare any timetable and please share your study strategy/exam tips to crack each subject of sem 5?

No such timetables, but yes try to cover up your portion before your exams. Skipping even a single chapter for a subject may be a loss, so covering up each and every important questions would be plus point. And studying the brief questions with some code which will help to remind the sub-points of the particular question.

Do you think BMS student require coaching classes or is self-study enough? Had you joined any coaching class for a particular subject?

Coaching classes for all subject is not necessary as the majority of the subjects are theory where you need to give self time to understand the concept. I had to join a coaching class for finance management (FM) else other subjects was done by self study.

What was your specialization subject? Why did you opt for it?

My specialized subject was Marketing. Marketing is a broad subject which gives you the knowledge about the marketing strategy in the modern economy. Theory based subject would help in gaining marks if you are good with theory part.

Can you list the textbooks you referred for all subjects?

Service Sector Management- RPH

Logistics- RPH

Special Studies in Marketing- RPH

Finance Management- Classes Notes

Business Ethics- Sheth & Himalaya publications

Human Resource Management- RPH

Which was your worst paper? Why? Which was your best paper? Why?

FM was the worst paper ever I went through, because the practice required for this subject is more as compared to what I did and the best paper was logistics, logistic was an interesting subject for me as compared to other subjects.

Today, we often come across students committing suicide out of failure, depression or tension of exams. What do you have to say about this? Did you use any special techniques for stress management?

If you want to avoid stress, it’s always better to work hard from the start itself rather than pilling up your work loads. Committing suicide is a sad thing which is increasing day by day due to failure. Failure is not the end of your life, it’s just a part of your life. Face it till you achieve your target.

The Black Book project contributing a significant part to the percentage, please share the experiences you had during the preparation of the project and how has it benefited you.

My black book topic was “ CHOCOLATE INDUSTRY IN INDIA- CADBURY”.

Working on this project was fun and easy.

Did you pursue any additional courses/ internships alongside BMS? What are your future  plans?

No additional courses was done by me during my sem5.Almost every BMS student plan for MBA for their coming future and the same with me. I’m planning for MBA in Marketing after getting some work experience of 1-2yrs.

Any tips and advises for your juniors?

“ Put your best and you will gain the best”

Work hard for your internals as well as for your black book which will always help you to increase you percentage.

“ALL THE BEST” to all those students who are preparing for the coming exams. God bless!!
