1:- Jharkhand is a state in eastern India. It was established on 15 November 2000. The name “Jharkhand” means “The Land of Forests”.
2:- Jharkhand accounts for 40% of mineral resources in India. Jamshedpur is the largest and the biggest industrial city of the state.
3:-Jharkhand’s gross state domestic product for 2011 was estimated at $ 21.7 billion at current prices. The state has a concentration of some of the highly Industrial cities like Jamshedpur, Dhanbad, Ranchi and Bokaro steel city.
4:- Women voters on Sunday outnumbered men in the fourth phase of the Assembly elections in Jharkhand.
5:-The polling number in some of the cities are: Dhanbad 15.69 percent, Jharia 15 percent, Tundi 17 percent, etc.
