-Recycling refers to the use of bad quality outputs (rejects) or wastes as inputs to the same process or system e.g. reusing plastic scrap.
-Use the scrap for producing by-products.

-Sell the scrap/surplus as raw materials to other user factories, external agents, or even to the employees.
-Sell scrap through advertisement and auctioning.
-Return the surplus to the vendor, if possible.
-Donate rejected material to charitable organizations to gain social respect.
