Put a stop, to the drop.
Clean and Conserve.

Water as we all know is the most abundant and essential compound on earth’s surface. Our daily toils most of which needs water is now a scarcity. We in cities, have the privilege to see water running down the tap and we could not think of residing in a place where we don’t see it.
Â
The slogans and awareness campaigns about water conservation seems puffed up with vanity, because what we see is what we believe. So here, are a few facts:
– India is facing a fresh water crisis, it holds just 4 % of the world’s fresh water – but 16% of the global population.
– Children in 100 million homes in the country lack water, one out of every two children are malnourished.
– Half of the world’s hospital bed are filled with people suffering from a water related disease.
– 84% of the people who don’t have access to improved water, live in the rural areas, where they live principally through subsistence agriculture.
– Worldwide,1 out of every 5 deaths of children under 5 is due to water related disease.
 Â
We all know and understand the water cycle,so we believe that the water wasted would end up in the sea and with the usual process we will get it back, but do we know if there will be availability of water?
According to the World Health Organization for every $1 invested in water and sanitation, there is an economic return of between $3 to $34!
Did you know we could save up to 4 gallons a minute if we turned off the water while brushing and there are just so many more ways to conserve water because we do know it when we waste it.It is time we press this thought of water conservation in ourselves. All we need to do is to be alert and aware or a dry willpower will stream out the cause and the water too!
