Do you remember your classmate who was considered to be the most intelligent student of the class, just because that person was the topper or among the top students? Also one of the favourites of the teachers. I do. Her name was Sridevi. She always topped the class. Most of her answers were near to perfect. Students and teachers used to refer her exam papers for comparing others’ papers. At the same time, she played and enjoyed as any other normal student. I wonder what she does to be such an admirable student.
Doesn’t she face any challenges while studying or giving exams? What is her daily routine? How does she manage? These were few questions that occupied my thinking. I am sure you people would have had such classmates.
Already our mind will be thinking about them, on top it our parents would fill the house by talking about them, all the time. Honestly it is irritating. In such a situation, I decided to go ahead and ask the secret behind her success. Her reply was just three answers, ‘HARDWORK’, ‘CONSISTENCY’ and ‘CONCENTRATION’.
Guys, it is not magic or inborn talent to be the topper and one of the brightest students. It is your approach towards that activity. My granny always said, there is a difference between intelligent and hardworking people. You don’t have to be intelligent to be a hardworking person and vice-versa is definitely not necessary.
A hardworking person will surely reach his/her destination, sooner or later but nobody can give guarantee for an intelligent person. A combination of hardworking and intelligent person is what we call as topper or scholar or genius. Edison is termed as genius.
He has enabled us to use our smartphones, because without electricity phone charging would not be possible. But if he had not worked hard enough, along with using his brains, would it be possible for him to invent? Definitely it is a big NO.
It is just not my opinion but even those people who are known for their work and success share similar opinion. In one of Karan Johar’s show “Koffee with Karan”, one of the directors appreciated Aishwarya Rai’s hard work that she puts in on sets, indicating she struggles hard to give her best shot. No wonder why we often listen to a proverb, hard work is the key to success.
Even in this proverb they have not spoken about intelligence. So when you do hard work, you are ought to face challenges. The path of hard work is not a bed of roses. But it is your consistency, dedication, passion, concentration and fir to achieve your goal, which moulds us and enables us to face this path.
You must be wondering what kind challenges they face. So let me tell you, they are not super kids. They will also face similar kinds of challenges. When they start a new work, it will be alien to them. Slowly and steadily they will practice and give time to themselves to learn it. And one day, they will perfect themselves.
People say “Practice makes a Man perfect”. It is absolutely correct. They take measures to rectify their mistakes. They seek and guidance from seniors. They will be open to learning. Also spread their knowledge by helping others.
If you want you can think over this matter and can share your opinion.
