Smriti Irani was announced as Minister of HRD, one of the most important ministries. There have been a lot of questions raised regarding her qualification from the opposition. The journalist-activist Madhu kishwar on twitter posted, “Irani claims to be Bcom part 1 from correspondence school. No such degree exists. Means just took admission and left.. Misrepresenting in affidavit”. Another post said, “Congress & Left have nurtured intellectuals, academics for decades. BJP neglected this arena @narendramodi better put worthy person in HRD. “The controversy does not seem to be dying down. The BJP has come out in full support of Smriti Irani as HRD Minister. Congress leader Meem Afzal hit out at Irani, saying people will raise question when someone, for whom education was not a priority, is being made education minister. Hitting back, Textile Minister Santosh Gangwar said “I would like to ask what Sonia Gandhi’s educational qualification is.”
Keeping the controversy aside, a lot of hard-work and dedication was put in by Smriti Irani to come to this. She has the right speech and good debating skills too. She runs an organization “People for Change” which provides drinking water to the poor in India’s remote areas; she also voiced her concerns about the safety of women in Delhi where she advocated capital punishment for rapists as a deterrent.
A finalist of the beauty pageant Femina Miss India 1998, her fate took her to Mumbai where she decided to try her luck in glamour world. Initially she joined Mc Donald’s Bandra to support herself while auditioning for work in showbiz. Soon enough her hard-work and luck made her the famous Indian bahu Tulsi Virani from ‘Kyuki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’. She did a lot of modeling assignments, anchoring of shows, daily soaps etc.

mam : i would like to bring in to your kind notice the CCE pattern in education up to secondary level .It has resulted in decrease in the education level of children . They have started taking it for granted , stoped studying , as they know they will pass 10 th class without studying. No one can be failed even if they write nothing in paper. Earlier they used to study with 2midterm exams and 1 final exam and 10 th class board. Their basics were clear. Level of education in India was high as compared to America etc. This CCE pattern was introduced during last 5 years. In this time of competition if we want that india should be self sufficient in all technologies ,India’s future -the children and youth should be highly educated notonly by degrees but should have thorough knowledge of the subject so that Mr.Obama should again say to american children -“study , or else indians will be ahead of you in all fields .” we should switch back to examination system other wise the future is dark .
Very good !
