  • Were you expecting to top in the exams? To whom would you credit this success to?

Yes, I was expecting to top the university. I credit this success to my teachers, both from college as well as classes, as well as my friends who helped me in certain   difficulties. I also like to thank my parents for motivating me throughout the SEM.

  • Did you prepare religiously from day One or A few weeks before the exams?

Yes I studied from day one, whatever taught in the institute as a part of revision. I don’t believe in last minute studies.

  • How did you allot time to different subjects?

I studied theory subjects at least 2 subject per day and FM everyday. I studied at least 2 hrs self studies everyday. I didn’t made timetable due to fluctuation of timings of college and classes.

  • Can you share some insights on how to crack the subjects before exams?

Before the exam refer previous year’s university papers since we get a hint of what type of questions are expected to come specially for FM.

If you concentrate and attend college as well as classes lectures every subject is easy.

Write your answers in paragraph form. The first paragraph must contain introduction of the question asked specially for 10 marks question.

The way of writing that is your handwriting is very essential to look for. It makes the examiner to check papers in easier way.

Case studies should be read twice before writing anything to understand more about what is given and what is asked. In case of practical papers be aware about numericals given. There can be some twist in case studies so be alert.

  • Do you think BMS student require coaching classes or is self-study enough? Had you joined any coaching class for a particular subject?

I personally feel for FM it is a must to join coaching classes since it needs a lot of practice.

Yes I had joined MAHESH TUTORIALS CLASSES-BORIVALI BRANCH and they taught me very well for which I got 93 marks in FM.

  • Did you participate in college fests or extra-curricular activities? Do you think a BMS student can manage both studies and extra activities?

I had no time to participate in any fest since I stayed 2 hours far from my college and I had classes in the evening. But you can manage both studies as well as extra activities.

  • Did you pursue any additional courses/ internships alongside BMS?

NO

  • Today, we often come across students committing suicide out of failure, depression or tension of exams. What do you have to say about this? Did you use any special techniques for stress management?

Failure does come in everyone’s life. It does not mean you should end your life. But we should try to overcome such situation and try not to make the same mistake again.

  • Do you think the number of Industrial visits should be increased for BMS Students? Which industries have you visited?

Yes industrial visits should be increased. We get to know lot about the industry and its processes.

I visited INFOSYS, EXIDE, AMUL industries.

  • Do you think BMS students are flooded with assignments, projects and internal exams round the clock? What changes would you like to bring in the BMS Curriculum?

Assignment, projects presentations are one means to get knowledge increases your confidence and develop your personality.

A small change to be made is some practical things also should be included in the syllabus.

  • What message would you like to give to the next batch of BMS students?

Start studying from day 1 since once the time gone you will be flooded with a lot of stress and tension and it will be impossible to finish the whole syllabus. Lastly All the best and be the best.

I am taking one year gap for the preparation of CAT, CMAT entrance exams for MBA.Then I will pursue for MBA.
