State Directorate of Industries
Ans: Â The primary responsibility of the State Directorate of Industries is the growth of small-scale industries in the respective area. The directorate Is headed by a Director and assisted by Joint Director, Deputy Directors, District Industries Officers and inspectors. At the District level, Assistant Director or District Industries officers looks after the development of Small-scale Industries. The district industries officer is responsible for the small industries programme plus handicraft and village industries.
