How does it feel to be a Topper in the university exams? Whom will you credit your success to? What was your success mantra?
It feels great to be the topper in the university exams. Credit goes to my professors who helped me in solving my doubts and my parents who supported and encouraged me throughout my exams. There is nothing such as success mantra for me, but can say “Hard work pays off”.
Did you prepare any timetable and please share your study strategy/exam tips to crack each subject of sem 5?
Yes, giving each and every subject equal importance is necessary as it helps to manage each subject systematically. In theory subjects, concept should be cleared and lot of practice is required for practical subjects.
Do you think BMS student require coaching classes or is self-study enough? Had you joined any coaching class for a particular subject?
It’s on every individual and on their potential that how they manage to do their studies. So for me I prefer to join the coaching classes only for the practical subject. But, at the end it’s the self dedication and self study which benefits us.
What was your specialization subject? Why did you opt for it?
I opted for special studies in finance as my specialization subject as I found it more interesting and wanted to gain more knowledge related to finance.
Can you list the textbooks you referred for all?
I referred to RPH publications and notes provided by my professors.
Which was your worst paper? Why? Which was your best paper? Why?
My worst paper was Financial management as I found it little tricky to solve it and my best paper was special studies in finance as i solved it systematically and was confident of scoring good marks in that paper.
Today, we often come across students committing suicide out of failure, depression or tension of exams. What do you have to say about this? Did you use any special techniques for stress management?
Failure is the 1st step towards success. So it’s not the END, It’s the beginning. So for those who thinks that suicide is the only option left for them is totally wrong.
Studying daily for 2 hours helped me in completing the syllabus within the date of exam so at the last moment of exam I was totally stress free and I got time to revise all the subjects.
The Black Book project contributing a significant part to the percentage, please share the experiences you had during the preparation of the project and how has it benefited you.
I chose the topic of my black book of my interest which helped me alot in preparing the project as I kept on searching for new information and data. As the topic was of my interest it helped me a lot to present it very well to the external as I was knowing the in and out information of my topic.
Did you pursue any additional courses/ internships alongside BMS? What are your future plans?
No .I was only doing my BMS .Future plans to either do further studies in specialization or secure a job which will help me to improvise myself and grow in my field.
Any tips and advises for your juniors?
Study Hard, Party Harder. But be focus on your goals and try to achieve it.
