The popular mobile game Subway Surfer by Kiloo Games has finally come to Mumbai. After the likes of world class cities like Rio and Tokoyo, it’s time for Aamch Mumbai. Gamers across the country, especially Mumbaikars have well enough reason to enjoy as they can see trains look just like our locals in brown and cream.
Lined across the tracks are fruit stalls and the cop chasing you is in Khakhi uniforms just like our Policemen. Also introduced in this update is a character called Jay, who resembles ‘Farhan Akhtar’ from ‘Bhag Milkha Bhag’ right down to the number on the jersey. Another change is the inclusion of the Bandra-Worli sea link, where you dogde trains instead of cars.
Collectibles in this update include the ‘Lotus’. There is much controversy with relation to this lotus collectible, as its election year and lotus is the official symbol of a leading political party. Hopefully we feel that Lotus was the designer’s choice, since it happens to be the National Flower of our country.
The game ‘Subway Surfer’ is available on Android, Ios and Windows powered devices. For those not in the know, Subway Surfers features subway vandals Jake, Tricky and Fresh run away from the police inspector and his dog after painting on the train cars. You also have to dodge the oncoming trains while collecting coins in the meanwhile. Special objects such as a jetpack, jumping shoes and a hoverboard are peppered through the track and the object is to run as long as possible, while completing mini challenges along the way. You can also challenge and help your friends from within the game.
