An automobile, autocar, motor car or a car is a wheeled motor vehicle used for transporting passengers & it is also a first choice of a men. Every car has a unique variant, unique style & it is said that every car say something about their owner i.e. a car determines the type of person he is. It has been a long journey that automobiles has traveled from time.
The first modern automobile was invented in 1886 by the German inventor Karl Benz. These motorized wagons soon replaced the animal drafted carriages especially after 1908 when it became affordable to common man. It has been estimated that due to increase in urbanization the consumption of automobiles has increased many fold.
It was estimated that in 2010 the worldwide consumption of automobiles was 1 billion which is double of its consumption in 1986. These numbers are increasing in day by day in China & India due to their increasing populations. So here we look at the top 10 automobile companies of the world which change the mankind.

Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation is a Chinese state owned manufacturing company headquartered in Shanghai, China with multinational operations.The company had the largest production volume of any Chinese automaker in 2012 producing around 3.5 million units. As of 2014 SAIC has market value of US 26.7 billion dollars.

Commonly known as GM is an American multinational corporation headquarter in Detroit, Michigan. It produces vehicles in 37 countries under ten brands: Chevrolet, Buick, and Cadillac to name a few. As of 2014 its market value is US 38.5 billion dollars.
