An Interview with Gauri S. Malgaonkar, TYBMS Sem 5 Topper, Sant Rawool Maharaj Mahavidyalaya Kudal, Sindhudurg (65%)
I credit my exam success to all my college professors and Sawant Sir from Suyash classes who taught me and also my parents and friends. I prepared for the exams a month before. I daily studied for 8 hours. Before exams, I prepared for all subjects and used to revise again and again. Easy subjects are Financial Management, Special Studies in Finance and Elements of Logistics. I kept in mind all the sub-points of theory papers and wrote explanation of answers in own words. For case study, I prepared summary then I explained the facts of the problem, then make SWOT analysis for the problems followed by alternate solution and select the best suitable solution for the problems. Lastly was the Conclusion of our own understanding. Coaching classes are required for subjects like Financial Management and it requires regular practice which is not possible in regular college. Self- study is very important alongwith coaching classes. I had joined Suyash Classes for Financial Management subject. I participated in Sports, E-Week Event, BRAVOLIA- THE MEGA EVENT’ which was organized by BMS department in our college. Definitely BMS students can manage both studies as well as extra activities. For students who do suicides out of failure, I must say that suicide is not the solution. Students have to think positively. They should use their full capacity to overcome their shortcomings. Students can get actual knowledge about working/functioning of company by visiting more industries. Hence, it is essential to increase the number of IVs. I feel BMS students are flooded with assignments, projects and internal exams. In fact, BMS Assignments and Projects should be submitted online. BMS’ites should concentrate on both studies and extracurricular activities and update with the current happenings. After BMS, I will search for job in finance.Â
