Thirteen reasons why by Jay Asher is a story about Clay Jensen, finds a mysterious box with 13 cassette tapes recorded by Hannah Baker, his classmate and crush who committed suicide two weeks earlier. In each of the 13 tapes Hannah explains her thirteen reasons why she decided to end her life. Clay is one of them. This novel is a heartrending story of confusion and desperation that will deeply affect teen readers.
