For a T.Y.BMS student, life has become one big mess. This big mess started in November 2013 with the very tough exam papers for their Sem 5 exams. Following closely was the indefinite delay in results and once results came out, it was a rude shock with only 51% of the students actually getting a Successful result.
Post the result came mark sheets, delayed in certain cases and they too brought with them Khoon ke Aansu, with tough correction very poor marks. The last blow students received is in figures and quite literally there are a lot of them to look into with the sky rocketing exam fees amount.
For Sem 5 exam forms we paid Rs. 660, and then came the ATKT forms for Rs. 660 oh yes the Revaluation charges at Rs. 500 and how can you forget the Revaluation photocopy charges at Rs. 100 only, coming to an approximate total of Rs. 1920 for a single semester.
BMS has been a huge roller coaster ride for students and post Sem 5 the coaster has only been going down and down. The university can’t make their own cake and eat it too, leaving students to suffer because they wanted to study. All BMSites wanted was to be able to become management graduates and have a bright future and the university with its antics is ensuring that they get anything but that! Â
(Figures quoted in this article may differ but the sentiments of students stay heart breaking as expressed above.)
