Mumbai University going to provide marksheets to the final year BMS students with their photographs on the right side of marksheets.
This student-friendly measure aims to make the marksheets more secure and difficult to duplicate and also speed up visa and verification process.
“This is the first time in the history of the university that it has started printing photographs on mark sheets. It will be continued for other examinations too in the near future. The purpose of incorporating the photograph is to bring in a transparent and foolproof system and enable easy verification by various authorities and prospective employers. This will also speed up visa processing if students are planning to study abroad or pursue a job” said Vilas Shinde, controller of examinations, Mumbai University.
