Our life is full of ups and downs. We are bound to face many obstacles and challenges in our life. Some go through hard times more and some get lucky. However, giving up is not an optimum solution for the obstacle or problem. Dealing with them and finding a better solution is. Here are some of the truths to motivate you and help you get through bad times:
1- Pain is a part of life- It helps you grow.
We need to feel pain as we feel alive or loved. We learn the importance of how it makes us think positively and take decisions wisely next time. It helps us grow as it is difficult to bear. Quitting or not moving forward is not the solution to any problem.
2- Mindset is half the battle.
Mindset of a person plays a very very important role not only for determining his/her personality but also his capability to persist. It is individual interpretation of any situation. The interpretation is based on the person’s mindset. Expecting life to always be easy and wonderful is like swimming in an ocean expecting the waves only to rise up and not come crashing down. Life will never be perfect, it depends on how YOU take it!
3- Your biggest fears don’t really exists.
I was watching one of the best TED talk by Astronaut Chris Hadfield he said “There is no problem so bad that you can’t make it worse”. Just think about it. How do we approach problems? What is our first reaction to it? Somewhat like “Oh,shit…I just hate it” Â or cribbing about it with frustration. I bet you will change your approach after seeing this TED talk.
4- You are growing through experience.
EXPERIENCE…is a thing that makes you feel familiar in any situation. It makes us grow as we know our mistakes and try not to repeat them after that. Experience is the most valuable commodity you own – it builds your strength.
5- The present is all that you have to deal with.
Life is not lived somewhere far imaginary land where it will be prefect. Things might not get through as you think but always keep in mind:present is all that you have to deal with. Thinking of future and worrying only makes your present dreadful. Many young people seem to think all their happiness awaits them in the years ahead, while so many older people believe their best moments are behind them. Don’t be either of them. Don’t let the past and the future steal your present.
Else than this you need to also keep in mind that Great things take time. No one in this world can validate you as no one knows you better than yourself. Always there is something to be thankful for as you are not alone. Life is a precious and most valuable gift given by the Almighty. Make your life such that there shall be nothing to regret when you look back while lying on your deathbed. Always stay happy 🙂
