With many BMS not having received their mark sheets yet, we had a number of students calling in from various colleges questioning us about this unfairness between colleges. Top ranking colleges received their mark sheets first and many small or new colleges are yet to receive their mark sheets.
Students fear that since their counterparts from other colleges know exactly where they stand in terms of marks preparation has become easier for them. Those who haven’t received the mark sheets do not know which subject they have to study for along with the burdensome syllabus of semester 6.
They are losing days and preparation time. There is also the fear of late fees being charged by the University for Revaluation and ATKT forms, for which the students are not to be blamed as they don’t know which forms to fill and how many subjects they have received less marks.
To help these students prepare with the KT exams, faculty too need time and that would become so difficult once semester exams for semester 2 and 4 start in colleges.
Students are in a dilemma as to what to do and fear a similar poor result in Sem 6 due to lack of proper information for Sem 5 ATKT exams and all the burdensome preparation that will come in as time given for preparation is less.
We sincerely hope that the university takes the plea of all of these students into consideration and tries to reach them their mark sheets as soon as possible!
