University of Kashmir, Srinagar has released notification for admission to PG/LL.B (Academic) and other PG Diploma courses for 2014.
Courses offered by the University are as under:
M.A /M.Sc Mathematics,M.A. English, Urdu, Economics, Education.M.Com, LL.B (Academic),PG in Diploma in Computer Applications, Home Science, Tourism Management, Business Administration, Cyber Law, Web Designing and Business Entrepreneurship.
Eligibility Criteria
For MA English
Candidates must possess graduation with English Literature as one of the subjects and should have obtained minimum 40% of marks at graduation level from the University of Kashmir or equivalent.
For MA/ M.Sc Mathematics
Candidates should have cleared Mathematics as one of the subjects with minimum 40% at graduation level from the University of Kashmir or equivalent.
MA Urdu
Candidates must have cleared B.A. examination under (10+2+3) pattern with Urdu as one of the subjects and should have obtained minimum 40% marks at graduation level.
MA Economics
Candidates must have cleared Bachelor’s degree with Economics as one of the subjects or B.A LLB (Integrated) or BBA/B.Com/B.Sc (Maths or Statistics) (or) B.Sc Agriculture ICS/CA/ICWA having obtained minimum 40% marks at graduation level.
M.Com
Candidates should have cleared B.Com /BBA/BBM/BBS or B.A/B.Sc with P.G Diploma in Accountancy/ Cost Accountancy with minimum 40% marks.
M.A. Education
Candidates must have cleared graduation with Education as one of the subjects with obtaining minimum 40% marks at graduation level. Candidates having B.Ed with minimum 40% marks can also apply for M.A. Education.
LL.B (Academic)
Candidates should possess graduation in any discipline from the University of Kashmir or equivalent.
PG Diploma in Home Science
Candidates must possess a graduate degree with minimum 40% marks from University of Kashmir or equivalent.
