As Emerson said : Rings and Jewels are not gifts but apologies for gift, a true gift is a portion of thyself.

Nowadays people are getting more materialistic. Luxurious items and expensive things are the only ones which are best gifts.

Especially the youth is more into this than anyone else. Since youth is getting more and more materialistic they are losing out on simple things in life.

A gift can be a thought or word of love, motivation, encouragement as well. 

If your friend decides to give you a speech about you, and he/she encourages you and motivates you and also conveys his or her true feeling about you, it can be the best gift ever.

As it is said : It’s the thought which matters.

A gift should cost less yet it should have a great meaning. A meaningful and thoughtful gift.

Often we don’t like to give because we don’t like the recipient. One can think that the person who we are giving is not worthy of receiving it. We presume many things like this.

Giving not only means a gift which is an object. It can be like giving joy to people who are in pain or in stress. Making a person smile. Love is also giving.

Always remember it is because of love in our hearts we give.

Do not regret anything in this life even giving, as it will dwindle the giving.
