Write meaning of Thinking.

Ans.    Thinking may be described as mental processing of information. Thinking can take many forms such as daydreaming, fantasizing, reasoning and problem solving.

Thinking is done voluntarily and involuntarily. A person may not think deliberately all the time. There are moments when he is not consciously deliberating over some idea.

Voluntary thinking may result in voluntary action. Involuntary thinking may or may not lead to action. Dreaming is involuntary thinking and may not result in action.

Cultural, biological, and environmental experiences mould our thinking. Thinking helps us in adapting to our physical and social environment.

Mere thinking is not sufficient. Thinking needs to be organized. For thinking to be organized one need to systemically train one’s mind to get the required results. Systemic thinking helps in separating the important from the unimportant. Systemic thinking acts as a filter.
