Tell us about yourself, your background, why did you choose to do BMS and what do you plan to do after BMS?
My name is Yash Bohra, pursuing TY-BMS . I am working at Haptik Inc. and my background is Commerce. I chose BMS as I know if would give me an all round knowledge regarding HR, Finance and Marketing and it would help me grow my Managerial skills. I am also preparing for CAT and other competitive exams as I plan to go ahead with MBA after BMS.

Tell us about your collegeÂ
My college has given me a lot of memories, friends and the faculty has guided me in everyway! Bms course gets the classmates together to talk in just a few days because of the projects and presentations. Our Faculty is very supportive and help us in everything that we need and one of my favorite memory is of the interactive classes that we had in the second year!
Â
Who in your life has influenced the most? Why?Â
I would say I don’t have a mentor but I have Mentors, when I see successful people I know I would want to be the one who stands among them and one day above them! I motivate myself by challenging the toughest so as to test myself and my capabilities.
This motivation comes from my family and my friends and the competition that we see around us to do something and become something in life as Life is for the survival of the fittest!
Presentations and Projects form a very integral part of BMS. Any comments on how to ace them?Â
I agree with this! The best way to ace this to make the presentation form the scratch, do not use the presentations and projects that are available online, use those as references. Make your own. The one which you make will be filled with efforts and you will be careful about each and everything. This makes you better and better with them as in the future if you go for MBA you will have to make many presentations and projects. And make it as original as possible and only mention the pointers in the presentation and rest of are to be understood and spoken in front of the audience. Never mug up or learn the points in the presentation as you might fumble it up! Best way is to understand.

Tell us about your student experience at Vipin Saboo Tutorials. Would you recommend VST to other students?
As a student of VST I am very happy and satisfied. At VST Prof. Vipin encourages us to understand rather than asking us to by heart and this trick works very well because if you understand, it is grasped better than learned things. I will surely recommend VST to other Students as it is worth it!
If you are made the Vice Chancellor of Mumbai University, what changes would you like to initiate in the Indian education system? And even in BMS?
I would like to offer more International courses as all International courses aren’t available as yet because of which people prefer going abroad for their graduations.
And as far as BMS is concerned I would love to make the presentations and projects a compulsion as it’s a very vital medium for learning and gaining practical experience.
Does coming from a well reputed or good college/school help you boost your confidence? What message would you like to give to the students coming from an inferior college/vernacular medium?
Frankly, coming out of well reputed colleges matters only in the case when the college is known as a Brand; otherwise it doesn’t make a big difference.
All you need to have is the will for it and focus on your aim in life. These are enough to get you through and boast your confidence as everyone aren’t born with a silver spoon in their mouth!
Your feedback for BMS.co.in?
BMS.co.in is an amazing portal for all BMS aspirants as it helps them with all sorts of information they need before joining the course, even I had used this website to gain knowledge about the course and the subjects that are included in each sem and other vital information as well as this portal is made and maintained by BMS passout and they can be the best guides for the BMS aspirants.
Your favorite / memorable moments at VST which you would like to share with the audience?
No Favorite /memorable moment, but the classes are interactive, fun and sometimes full of learning with fun. On a serious note it is worth joining as you learn a lot, practice a lot and are done with the portion well in advance that when it’s being done in college and etc it counts as an extra revision to make the concept stronger.
I as a student of VST would recommend each one of you out there to reach out to Prof. Vipin Saboo for the orientation of his classes and at that minute itself you would feel like joining the class.

VST is known to produce subject toppers and college toppers, what are your action points to reach there?
Who doesn’t like to be a topper …right ?
I have seen a few of my seniors top and when asked they said they go to VST.
After joining VST, I got the secret of topping a particular subject. It’s Practice, guidance, Tricks and methods of studying and most importantly personal attention of the teacher towards the student. The list doesn’t end here as the main ingredient is yet to be disclosed and that is the SINCERITY of the student.
